On 20 September, our subsidiary Gaz Technologies, which specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of pure and speciality gas distribution systems, celebrated its 20th anniversary in the presence of members of the Gas Division’s Executive Committee. The event provided an opportunity to look back over the company’s history and discuss future goals.
Gaz Technologies was founded in 2004 by Claude Sum and Jean-Philippe Prieur, who are still involved in the company today. The company was created after the closure of American industrial gas company Praxair, where the founders worked. The integration of Gaz Technologies into the Gazechim Group in 2006 marked a turning point, paving the way for more ambitious and diversified projects, particularly in the semi-conductor, R&D, aeronautics and chemical sectors.
Today, under the leadership of Jacques Sturm, Director of the Gas Division, Gaz Technologies aims to become the benchmark technology centre within the Gazechim Group’s Gas Division, consolidating its expertise and strategic role in the development of new solutions
