For water disinfection, the Artelia design office chose gaseous chlorine technology because of its reliability and safety of use, control of operating costs and its low environmental impact. The company DIKEOS, operator of the site, opted for an additional security barrier with the installation of Actech. ACTECH, designed by Gazechim, is an automatic chlorine bottle closing system. Linked to a chlorine leak detector, it allows, in the event of a chlorine leak, the automatic closing of the bottle valve without human intervention.
