Thanks to our experience, thanks to activity of these years, after the good success for the audit Airbus and after production of Aero sandwich panels complete in aluminium, now Imatec is working on a new sandwich panels line (Fibre-Pan) with Nomex® honeycomb and pre-preg skins : light, high compression resistance and overall to satisfy the fire, smoke and low toxic requests (FST properties), asked from public transportation (aerospace and trains).
We have done the first trials last December and we are waiting for the results from one of Aerospace player (Piaggio). Size of panels are on request of customer per thickness and per number of layer pre-preg. We can also to mill the panels second the drawing of customers.
It will be a good goal to improve our range products, to satisfy better the market and also to improve our skill of job; so we’ll have another Aerospace qualification.
